 სადაზღვევო სექტორი კიდევ ერთ კვარტალს ზარალით ასრულებს. მიმდინარე წლის პირველი 9 თვის მონაცემებით, ზარალი 7 მილიონ ლარს აღემატება. ბოლო წლებში სადაზღვევო სექტორი ზარალზე პირველად 2011 წლის პირველი ნახევრის ბოლოს გავიდა. საექსპერტო წრეებში მაშინ აცხადებდნენ, რომ ზარალი ძირითადად სადაზღვევო კომპანიების ჰოსპიტალურ სექტორში მონაწილეობით არის განპირობებული.შეგახსენებთ, რომ მხოლოდ მიმდინარე წლის ბოლომდე სადაზღვევო სექტორმა 30 ახალი საავადმყოფო უნდა გახსნას. მათი ნაწილი უკვე შევიდა ექსპლუატაციაში. რაც შეეხება ბაზრის ლიდერს, ეს „GPIჰოლდინგი“ გახლავთ. კომპანიის მიერ 2011 წლის სამი კვარტლის განმავლობაში მოზიდულმა პრემიამ 45.125 მილიონი ლარი შეადგინა. იგი მთელი ბაზრის 17.14 პროცენტს აკონტროლებს. მეორე პოზიციაზეა „ალდაგი BCI“, რომლის წილი ბაზარზე 17.11 პროცენტს შეადგენს. მან 45.040 მილიონი ლარის მოზიდვა შეძლო. მესამე პოზიციაზეა „იმედი L“, რომელსაც ბაზრის 16.25 პროცენტი უკავია, ხოლო მის მიერ მოზიდულმა პრემიამ 42.765 მილიონი ლარი შეადგინა. სულ 2011 წლის სამი კვარტლის განმავლობაში 15 სადაზღვევო კომპანიამ 263.143 მილიონი ლარი მოიზიდა.
