Briquetting Machine cover a wide range such as biomass briquette machines, coal briquette machines, metal briquetting presses and so forth. Especially, biomass briquetting presses, as a kind of maturely developed equipment, are extensively serving clients across the globe. Besides, thanks to the compacted structure and high density and after the extruding process, feedstock will become from less than 100 kg/m3 to typical 1000 to 1100 kg/m3. Briquettes can be stored with about 10 times less space so that the costs on transportation and storage will favorably decrease, on the other hand, its heating efficiency is way much higher than that of the conventional fuel, for example coal or directly burned wood sticks or sawdust.
Raw material of briquette machine can be coconut shell, hardwood, wood sawdust, nut shell, etc, they can be carbonized into charcoal directly, then briquetted into different shapes.
Previously, people burning plenty of scattered coal, combustion is not complete, waste a great deal of coal resources, and serious environmental pollution. As the global energy crisis, every country pay great attention to the energy problem.
Some biomass waste materials can be carbonized into charcoal directly, these charcoal can be processed furtherly by the charcoal dust briquette machine into charcoal briquette in different shapes, for BBQ, hookah tablets etc, with nice appearance, high density, a bit of smokeless and tasteless.
These barbeque charcoal briquettes can be exported to Europe and the United States, South Korea, Japan applied to large buffet barbecue shop, star hotel buffet barbecue, outdoor barbecue.Some country lack of natural coal, the local biomass can be processed into charcoal, the output charcoal briquettes can be used as domestic fuel and industrial smelting.

The detailed Briquette Machine process is as follows
1. Just as referred, there are a wide range of raw materials including agroforestry wastes such as sawdust, crop straw, wood branches, rice hull, bamboo sawdust, peanut shell and sunflower shell, etc.
2. Crusher is suitable for crushing different kinds of straw or wood log with size less than 200mm(diameter). After milled, the output diameter is 3-5mm, which is suitable for further briquetting.
3. For raw materials with high moisture content of above 12%, a drier is necessary to install. Put the wet material into the hopper. The stove (boiler) generates hot air which mixed with wet sawdust and sucked into the pipes by the exhaust blower (fan), the dried sawdust is discharged from the outlet with air lock. Finishing this step, we need make sure that the processed materials diameter must be at 3-5 mm and the raw materials moisture is within 8-12%.
4. Making briquette is an important process that biomass is compressed under high pressure and high temperature. We need no binder added, as the lignin in plant can serve as the glue in briquetting process. After binding and compressing in charcoal briquette machine, the biomass is pressed into high density briquette.
5. The last step is carbonization. This process makes the wood briquette into charcoal briquette which is popular. Our carbonization furnace can be equipped with several charring hearth which need no preheating when replacing it. The carbonization hearth is cooled outside the carbonization furnace, thus it greatly improves the carbonization efficiency, saving the devices, labor and costs.
