Description:Hong Kong International Education Expo has become the most popular educational event every summer in Hong Kong since its debut in 2003. Last year, the Expo brought together hundreds of local and overseas education institutions, including colleges, universities, vocational training and continuing educational providers from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, the U.K. , the U.S.A., Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Switzerland, Japan, and Singapore. A wide range of full-time, part-time and long-distance learning programmes were remarkably well-received by over 47,000 visitors in just four days.Profile:Coverage Area: 221,968 Square MeterVisitors: Hong Kong International Education Expo is held every year right after that of HKAL results. It is perfectly timed to meet the immediate needs of nearly 40,000 secondary graduates. According to statistics, only around 17,000 vacancies are available for university education respectively in year 2010. The figures entail that more than 20,000 students have to seek alternative ways to further their studies. The Expo specifically aims to provide the much needed education resources to this large pool o Exhibitors: It is an exhibition that attracts higher education policy-makers, researchers, practitioners, HR managers and personnel, teachers and students, buyers and suppliers from state and private-run colleges and universities, education and multimedia publishers, computer software industry representatives, HRD consultants, instructional technology experts, and professional trainers.
